Overview And Experience

Dr. Theresa Koppie is a board-certified urologist and fellowship-trained urologic oncologist specializing in the treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, and other complex genitourinary cancers. She completed her residency training in urology at UCSF and advanced fellowship training in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Dr. Koppie has served in academic leadership roles and has extensive experience managing complex cancer cases using advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic approaches when appropriate. She is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based care with a focus on optimizing outcomes and quality of life.

Her clinical interests include prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, upper tract urothelial carcinoma, and complex oncologic surgery. She is actively engaged in clinical research and has contributed extensively to the urologic oncology literature.
