Dr. Jason M. Phillips is a Board Certified Urologist specializing in men and woman’s urologic health.
He is trained in minimally invasive technologies including the Da Vinci Robotic Surgical System, ureteroscopy, Urolift, neuromodulation and greenlight laser. Dr. Phillips has a special interest in robotic surgery, treating urologic cancers, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney stones, overactive bladder, incontinence, bladder prolapse, erectile dysfunction and symptoms related to an enlarged prostate. As a physician with an MBA, Dr. Phillips is an advocate of collaborative decision-making and utilizing a team-based approach to optimize patient outcomes. Dr. Phillips achieved the first designation as a Center of Excellence for UroLift in San Diego. He trains other surgeons in robotic surgery and has been designated a San Diego Top Doctor as well as a Castle Connelly Top Doctor. Dr. Phillips is Chief of Urology and Co-Chair of the Robotics Committee at Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside. He sits on multiple hospital committees lending his expertise on quality assessment and performance improvement. Dr. Phillips received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkley and earned his MD and MBA degrees from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Phillips underwent his general surgery and urological surgery training at the University of Colorado in Denver. Dr. Phillips is a Diplomate for the American Board of Urology, an active member in the American Urological Association, Western Section AUA, and the San Diego Urological Society. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
