Overview And Experience

Dr. Avinash Chenam is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist specializing in robotic and minimally invasive surgery for prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. He completed his medical degree at Saint Louis University, followed by urology residency at Beaumont Health Systems. He then pursued a two-year fellowship in Urologic Oncology and Robotic Surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center.

Dr. Chenam has practiced robotic oncology since 2018 and has developed particular expertise in complex kidney surgery, including robotic partial nephrectomy. He is known for his high surgical volume and precision-based approach to minimally invasive cancer treatment.

He currently serves as:

• Vice Chair of Surgery

• Director of Robotic Surgery

Dr. Chenam has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has received multiple awards from the American Urological Association for clinical research and surgical innovation.

He provides advanced robotic urologic oncology care within the Elite Robotic platform.
